The Casing Boutique was established in 2011 to run alongside the existing 100% New Zealand family-owned/operated export-based firm Pacific Casings and expand into the Australasian market.

Our task was to deliver a brand that reflected their company values and the high quality natural products the produce. The key design objective was to appeal to its main target audience of 40-60yr old males, butchers & deli owners, as well as; food savvy housewives/sausage-makers & organic consumers.

All marketing material had to convey that these casings are a superior-quality NZ/Australian natural product and present and image of an approachable/helpful/friendly company which prides itself on personalised service. 

The Casing Boutique brand mark combines components of sophisticated typographic and iconic elements [some of which were derived from it’s family company origins] to communicate integrity and reiterate their undisputed reputation in industry. The warm earthy natural colours, sausage-like typography and approachable illustrations throughout their collateral results in a down to earth brand that invites customers from any skill level to give sausage casing a go.
